Some wedding days are beautiful because of the details. Some are memorable because of the venues. And some stand out because of the people. Abigail and Aidan’s Oklahoma City wedding somehow managed to have all three. From their heartfelt Catholic Mass at St. Thomas More University Parish to an absolutely stunning reception in the Hall of Mirrors at the Civic Center Music Hall, every part of the day felt intentional, elegant, and genuinely joyful. Add in an incredible vendor team, gracious guests, and two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and you have the kind of wedding day that reminds you why you love what you do. Honestly, if I could photograph this day over and over again, I would!

Getting Ready at Civic Center Music Hall
The day started at the Civic Center Music Hall, where Abigail and Aidan got ready surrounded by their closest friends and family. One of my favorite things about this venue is how versatile it is. While many couples know it for the iconic Hall of Mirrors, there are so many beautiful spaces throughout the building that make getting ready feel elevated and unique.
Abigail’s details fit the venue perfectly. From her blue Manolo Blahnik heels to the soft, timeless design elements woven throughout the day, everything felt classic without being overdone. The architecture, historic character, and natural light throughout the building created the perfect backdrop before the celebrations officially began.

A Traditional Oklahoma City Wedding Mass at St. Thomas More University Parish
After getting ready, everyone made their way to St. Thomas More University Parish on the University of Oklahoma campus for the ceremony. If you’ve followed my work for any amount of time, you already know how much I love this church. The architecture is beautiful, the light is incredible, and it always creates such a meaningful atmosphere for couples choosing a traditional Catholic wedding day.
Abigail and Aidan’s Mass was reverent, joyful, and focused on what mattered most. The soaring ceilings, warm wood details, and stunning altar create such a beautiful setting for wedding photography, but what stood out most was the way these two interacted with each other throughout the ceremony. You could tell they were soaking in every moment.

Golden Hour Portraits for This Oklahoma City Wedding
One of the biggest advantages of hosting a reception at the Civic Center Music Hall is having access to some of the best portrait locations in downtown Oklahoma City just steps away. Before heading into the reception, we snuck out for portraits in the park outside the venue, and the light could not have been more perfect. The golden hour glow wrapped around everything and gave us that soft, dreamy light photographers are always hoping for. Combined with the clean architecture surrounding the Civic Center, it created the perfect mix of timeless and editorial. These ended up being some of my favorite portraits from the entire day.

Reception in the Hall of Mirrors at Civic Center Music Hall
If you’re looking for a reception venue in Oklahoma City, the Hall of Mirrors deserves a spot at the top of your list. The Art Deco architecture, soaring ceilings, beautiful symmetry, and historic character make it one of the most unique reception spaces in the city. Abigail and Aidan transformed the room into an elegant, welcoming celebration space that felt refined without feeling stuffy. The vendor team absolutely knocked it out of the park, and every detail worked together beautifully. From the classic floral design to the soft color palette and candlelight, everything complemented the architecture rather than competing with it.
As the night went on, the dance floor stayed packed and guests celebrated right alongside Abigail and Aidan. Looking around the room, it was impossible not to notice how loved these two are. Every conversation, every toast, and every moment on the dance floor reflected the kind of community they’ve built around them.
