Sometimes the best moments happen when things don’t go exactly as planned and Abigail & Aidan’s engagement session at the Philbrook Museum in Tulsa Oklahoma was the perfect example of that! They had traveled all the way from Oklahoma City for their session, and the forecast said the rain would clear up just in time. But halfway through shooting at the museum gardens, the sky had other plans. It started pouring. Instead of running for cover, these two embraced it completely. They danced, laughed, and leaned into the moment, and it ended up being one of the most joy-filled, romantic sessions ever!

I actually met Abigail and Aidan through The Catholic Bridal Collective, a community of Catholic vendors and creatives, and I’m so excited to photograph their Catholic wedding next spring in Oklahoma City at the Civic Center’s Hall of Mirrors (a total bucket-list venue for me!)
