There’s just something about spring that makes everything feel fresh and full of possibility which honestly makes it such a sweet time to get married. With soft pastel blooms, longer days, and the feeling of a new season beginning, spring weddings have their own kind of magic! This styled shoot at Gatherings at Station 10 in St. Paul, MN was basically a love letter to spring and faith!  As a Catholic wedding photographer, I’ve got such a soft spot for weddings rooted in tradition. There’s something really special about the symbols, prayers, and sacraments that take place during a Catholic wedding. Why Spring Weddings Are So Dreamy

I love spring because flowers are blooming everywhere, and that dreamy golden hour light makes it the perfect time for a wedding. Spring in Oklahoma brings color and life to everything. And while yes, it can be stormy, don’t stress I’m always ready to shoot in whatever weather comes our way. Sometimes a little rain actually makes things even more romantic!

Spring Wedding Inspo | The Details That Made This Shoot So Special

This shoot was bursting with florals in the best way. Bloomberry Floral went all out with bright, happy centerpieces and a stunning hanging floral install over the table that made it feel like you were dining under a garden! The stationery was just as gorgeous deckled edge paper, watercolor designs, and sweet handwritten touches. We styled rosaries, and vintage Catholic details into the flatlays that looked so beautiful styled together. I loved how the film photos I took captured every little detail in such a soft, timeless way!
