Sky and Eli’s wedding was a beautiful reflection of their love and their shared faith. Their choice of venues, from the stunning Holy Family Cathedral to the charming Campbell Hotel, created a perfect setting for a vintage-inspired Christmas wedding. This wedding was filled with sentimental touches and meaningful details. Additionally, as an Oklahoma Catholic film photographer I was thrilled to be a part of this unforgettable day!

A Beautiful Catholic Wedding at Holy Family Cathedral
Sky and Eli’s wedding took place on December 27th, the Feast of St. John the Apostle. A special day that added depth to their already meaningful ceremony. Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa, with its breathtaking architecture and reverence, provided the ideal backdrop for this sacred moment. From Sky wearing her mother’s wedding dress to the kneeler built by Sky’s father, their wedding was a celebration of both family and faith. These beautiful details also made their Mass all the more special, adding layers of love and tradition.
The couple’s first look was set against the stunning stained-glass window depicting the Wedding at Cana, creating a romantic atmosphere for this intimate moment. Afterward, they shared a quiet prayer in front of the Crucifix at the back of the church. This is a deeply personal tradition before entering into the sacrament of marriage. These moments were a testament to how intentional they were in making their wedding day a reflection of their faith!
Sky and Eli’s wedding was filled with meaningful personal touches. One of my favorite details was Sky’s grandmother’s rosary! Which she had wrapped around her bouquet. It was a beautiful way to honor her family’s legacy. The guys got ready in the home they now share which was so special. Their portraits, taken in front of the art deco architecture of the nearby church, perfectly reflected the vintage style of the day. Additionally, the couple’s choice to incorporate personal and vintage elements made the day feel all the more intimate and special.

A Moody Christmas Wedding with Vintage Charm at The Campbell Hotel
Sky and Eli’s wedding day was full of moody, Christmas-inspired charm! With dimmed lights in the Cathedral, flickering candles, and the Christmas altar adorned with poinsettias, their ceremony was warm, intimate, and full of the spirit of the season. The overcast sky outside added a romantic touch to the day, creating a soft, glowing atmosphere for their wedding photos!
Their reception, held at The Campbell Hotel, was a beautiful continuation of their vintage theme. Sky and her family did much of the decor themselves, infusing it with evergreen greenery, dried citrus, and pinecones. The moody candlelight and vintage touches created the perfect setting for a celebration of love. The beautiful vintage piping on the wedding cake and the heirloom cake topper, passed down from Sky’s parents, added a personal touch to the reception. It was an evening that felt timeless, cozy, and full of love!
